Implant dentistry:
Many people suffer tooth loss because of tooth decay, gum disease or accidents, a set of teeth or single tooth can be replaced with the help of an implant system where in the implant acts as the root of the tooth, it is made up of titanium, and a crown is placed over it completing the whole unit, in case of multiple teeth replacement or dentures also implants can be used in various even numbers. The procedure gives permanent, strong, fixed and healthy dentition to the patient. These are safe and most successful to provide healthy teeth replacements.
Dentures:
This is a removable replacement of missing teeth, dentures can be of two types complete and partial, complete dentures are the ones which help replace all the teeth and partial denture replace few missing teeth, depending on the number of teeth missing the design may vary.
Bridge:
A bridge as the name suggest is used to replace missing teeth between two natural teeth. The cementation of the bridge is done by placing crowns on either side of the teeth and these are attached to a set of artificial crowns that have to be replaced. It is a painless procedure but less reliable as the lifespan of the bridge depends on the existing natural teeth. These are also known as fixed partial dentures.
