Conservative dentistry
Tooth Restoration:
in cases of dental decay, the decayed portion of the tooth is removed and is replaced using a biocompatible filling material by the modern dental practice of removing less tooth structure. We try to save the most amount of natural tooth structure possible, as it is the most beneficial to us.
Root canal treatment:
this treatment option is opted in cases of extreme dental decay where the pulp of the tooth is also infected, this treatment saves the tooth from being extracted and hence prevents the loss of a diseased tooth, giving it new strength with the help of a crown.
Post & Core:
In cases where a lot of tooth structure has been lost due to excessive dental decay, conservatively we can pace a post and build u the core around it resembling that of a tooth structure preventing it from extraction and retaining the tooth with the help of a crown.
